They were excited to get to camp in the morning and happy (and tired!) at the end of the day. "As a parent, finding the right summer camp that not only keeps my kids engaged but also helps them grow as athletes and individuals is incredibly important. Our daughter Harper, 12, and our son Avery, 11, both attended Hardwood Hustle Summer Camps last summer, and we couldn't be more thrilled with their experience.They each did four weeks at the camp and loved every minute of it. In fact, after their first half-day session, they came home and immediately told us they wanted to switch to full days. From the very start, we were impressed with the welcoming, positive environment. Upon entering Apex Athletics, we were greeted by smiling faces from Jackie, Jenna, and all the coaches. The facility itself is spacious, bright, and air-conditioned, making it an ideal place to spend the day training.What really sets Hardwood Hustle apart is the way they combine hard work with a focus on doing things the right way. The camp emphasizes key basketball skills like ball handling and shooting, but more importantly, it teaches kids how to be great teammates, work together, communicate and improve every single day. The coaches are inspiring, as they are all current or former college players, and that makes the experience even more meaningful for the kids.Throughout the summer, Harper and Avery not only became better players but also gained confidence and a deeper understanding of the game. They came out of the camp as better ball handlers, more skilled shooters, and much more knowledgeable players overall. And most importantly, they had a ton of fun in the process!The atmosphere at Hardwood Hustle is truly supportive and encouraging, and the camps are just an extension of that. It's clear the staff genuinely cares about the kids, their development, and fostering a love for the game. We've seen our kids grow both as athletes, individuals and teammates, and we couldn't be happier with the experience.We truly can't recommend Hardwood Hustle Summer Camps enough for any child who loves basketball, values hard work, and is eager to learn. It's been a fantastic experience for our family, and we look forward to returning this summer!
