FAQs

What should my athlete bring?

Athletic clothes, a basketball labeled with your name on it, basketball sneakers, a water bottle, and a lunch/snack.

Is this clinic beginner friendly?

Yes! We group athletes by age, skill level, and readiness so beginners feel safe and supported, and more advanced players are appropriately challenged.

What if my athlete is advanced?

Advanced players are grouped with similar peers and challenged appropriately through drills, competition, and coaching adjustments.

Do boys attend Hardwood Hustle events?

Absolutely. While our mission centers girls, all of our programs are coed—and boys love the culture. Girls lead. Boys belong. Everyone gets better.

Can my athlete attend only a few of the clinic days?

Yes. You can register for single-day passes if your schedule doesn’t allow for the full 4 days. The full bundle offers the best value if you plan to attend most of the clinic.

Will there be breaks?

Yes. We include structured water breaks, reset breaks, and a brief snack break to keep athletes energized and safe throughout the session.

What is the cancellation policy?

If your child can’t attend the camp for any reason, including schedule conflicts, last-minute injuries, a concussion, an unexpected illness, or a family emergency, you will receive a 100% credit for camp fees paid that can be applied to a future camp, transferred to a friend, or donated to an another family.

How are athletes broken up into groups?

At Hardwood Hustle, athletes are grouped in a way that ensures development, safety, and confidence for every participant. We use a flexible, dynamic grouping system based on:

1. Grade & Age

We begin by grouping athletes by grade so they’re learning with peers in the same general age range.

2. Skill Level

Coaches then adjust as needed based on skill, experience, and comfort level.
This ensures athletes are challenged appropriately without feeling overwhelmed or held back.
