What is the cancellation policy?

If your child can’t attend the camp for any reason, including schedule conflicts, last-minute injuries, a concussion, an unexpected illness, or a family emergency, you will receive a 100% credit for camp fees paid that can be applied to a future camp, transferred to a friend, or donated to an another family.

Will my child be safe?

Committed to compliance, our camp adheres to the regulations set by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and is licensed by the local board of health. We've implemented strict sign-in and pick-up policies. All participants and their families will receive camp safety policies and guidelines before the first day of camp.

Does the clinic provide snacks or lunch?

Participants are encouraged to bring their own snacks and lunch each day. We will have allocated time during the camp for a lunch and recovery period. During the recovery period of each camp, participants will have the opportunity to purchase snacks and drinks to enjoy.

Can parents watch throughout the day?

Parents are allowed to watch their children at any point during the day.

Are participants placed in groups based on age and skill level?

We divide participants into groups based on age first. Then, participants are evaluated by the coaching staff throughout the week. Is the camp required to conduct background checks on camp staff?

Yes. For all camp staff and volunteers, the licensed recreational camp for children must conduct a background check that includes obtaining and reviewing the applicant’s previous work history and confirming three positive references. The camp must also obtain a Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) history/juvenile report history from the Massachusetts Department of Criminal Justice Information Services to determine whether the applicant has a juvenile record or has committed a crime that would indicate the applicant is not suitable for a position with campers. The camp must conduct CORI re-checks every three years for permanent employees with no break in service.  The local health department will verify that CORI checks have been conducted during their annual licensing inspection. If an applicant resides in another state or in a foreign jurisdiction, where practicable, the camp must also obtain from the applicant’s criminal information system board, the chief of police, or other relevant authority a criminal record check or its recognized equivalent. The camp is required to hire staff and volunteers whose backgrounds are free of conduct that bears adversely upon his or her ability to provide for the safety and well-being of the campers.
